What I do, exactly.
First, understand what's actually going on.
Before deciding what to do, you need to know what’s really happening. I analyse the full state of your organic visibility: what’s indexing, what isn’t, and what’s indexing wrong. I identify structural problems that no automated tool will explain with business context. The result isn’t a 200-page report. It’s a clear diagnosis with a direction.

Content without strategy fills a feed. It doesn’t build visibility. I define what to publish, why, when and for whom — starting from real search data and business priorities. This includes GEO: how your brand appears in generative search results like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews. WRITING GOOGLE DIDN’T INVENT ANYTHING
I started in Switzerland opening boxes in a warehouse. Before that, I was covering collapses and fires live for public radio and television. No script. No second takes.
I’ve worked every level of a commercial operation before I started optimising them. That’s not decoration on a CV. It changes how I read data and how I explain decisions to the people who have to live with them.

What people ask before we start.
How long does an SEO audit take?
It depends on the size of the site and how much information is available at the start. Generally two to four weeks for a mid-sized site. For enterprise systems with multiple languages and markets, it can take longer. The first step is always a conversation to scope the work before committing to any timeline.
Do you work with small companies or only large ones?
My experience comes from large-scale projects, but the criterion for taking on a project isn’t company size. It’s whether the problem is real and whether there’s capacity to implement what gets defined. I’ve worked with mid-sized companies with structural problems more complex than some enterprise projects.
What languages do you work in?
English, German and Spanish. Both communication and deliverables can be in any of the three. For multilingual projects, I also analyse content in French and Polish, though I don’t work natively in those languages.
Do you execute as well, or only define strategy?
My core work is strategy and diagnosis. I’m not an execution agency. In some cases I accompany implementation when a team needs technical oversight, but the model isn’t “brief and forget.” It’s strategy your internal team can execute with their own judgement.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Most of my work is remote. I’m based in Zürich, which means I’m available across European time zones without friction, and I regularly work with clients in Spain, Germany, Austria and further afield. If an in-person session makes sense for your project, we can discuss it.
How much does it cost?
There are no published rates because the price depends on the actual scope of the work. What I can say: I don’t work by the hour without a clear objective. If you’re looking for the cheapest option, I’m probably not the right fit. If you want the investment to translate into better decisions, let’s talk.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 is the minimum. Depending on the project, it can also be useful to have access to the CMS, history of technical changes and any previous audits. What matters most is that someone on your team is available for two or three context calls at the start.
Do you work with agencies looking for an external consultant?
Yes, in some cases. Particularly when the agency needs experience in enterprise SEO, complex migrations or multilingual markets that aren’t covered internally. The condition is that the work reaches the end client at the same quality — not as capacity filler.
I have SEO tools and I can use AI. Why do I need you?
SEO tools tell you that you have 847 meta tag errors. AI explains what meta tags are. Neither tells you which of those errors is preventing a key product from appearing in commercial searches in Germany, why it happened, or what to fix first so you don’t spend three months solving what doesn’t matter. That requires judgement about your business, your market and what the data is showing in combination. Tools and AI are instruments. The judgement about what to do with what they show is not included.
You mention GEO. Is that the same as SEO?
Not quite. GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization: how your brand or content appears in generative search results from tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews. Classic SEO remains the foundation, but generative search engines have their own criteria for citing sources and recommending brands. In 2026, the two work together.
